Spotlight on Success
Shari is a 72 year old from Oklahoma County. She came to the Faye Donalson, Hearing Helper Room looking to borrow a cell phone alert. She was having a hard time hearing her cell phone at night. The cell phone ringer she borrowed has a light that flashes and can be hooked to a bed shaker.
She felt more secure knowing the cell phone ringer would have multiple capabilities waking her up in the night.
Lifetone HLAC Alarm
The Lifetone HLAC alarm provides a solution to at-risk groups that include children, seniors, and hard of hearing or hearing impaired individuals, and people who just sleep well and soundly by using the scientifically proven most effective sound for awakening you in an emergency. Using patented monitoring technology to listen for the high-frequency sound of your smoke alarm, the Lifetone Alarm alerts you with four different signals when it detects a smoke alarm sounding.
The four signals are:
• A loud and low-pitched alarm sound
• A baritone voice announcing “FIRE! GET OUT!”
• A powerful bed shaker vibrations
• The screen flashes orange and reads “FIRE”
With the bed shaker it will awaken you even if you cannot hear at all. The Lifetone HLAC Alarm is your guardian at night and your reliable daily wake-up alarm clock.
