TSHA assists individual with communicating on the telephone
Total Source for Hearing-loss and Access (TSHA) provides comprehensive services to the deaf and hard of hearing communities throughout Oklahoma. TSHA recently assisted an 88-year-old Tulsa County resident who was struggling with hearing loss. She was not able to speak with her family and friends on the telephone.
With the assistance of TSHA, she was able to try out different telephones as well as a personal listening device. The assistive technology has allowed her to have face-to-face conversations with her children. This program has saved the family time and money from investing in different phones that were not effective to meet her needs.
