Oklahoma Durable Medical Equipment Reuse Program (OKDMERP) received a prestigious award in October 2015.
The Mayor’s Committee on Disability Concerns honors people and organizations for their contributions toward public awareness in overcoming social and environmental barriers to persons with disabilities. Seven awards are presented annually.
OKDMERP was honored in the "special" category. This award is given for meritorious accomplishments by an individual or entity that has taken special action to encourage advancement of all persons with disabilities in the greater Oklahoma City area by increasing the awareness of the handicaps imposed by society which limit the social, economic, and environmental activities of persons with disabilities in their everyday lives.
