DISASTER RECOVERY CENTERS TO CLOSE IN LITTLE AXE AND MOORE
OKLAHOMA CITY – Disaster Recovery Centers in Little Axe and Moore will close Saturday, July 11 state and federal emergency managers announced today. The centers have met the needs of Oklahoma residents recovering from the wildfires that hit central Oklahoma April 9-12.
The recovery centers in Midwest City and Ratliff City will remain open at the following locations until further notice:

Both recovery centers will be open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Saturday, July 11. They will be open
1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 12 and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, July 13 through Saturday, July 18.
Disaster Recovery Centers were established in six Oklahoma communities by the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management (OEM), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the U.S Small Business Administration (SBA) following a June 19 federal disaster declaration for wildfires affecting Carter, Cleveland, Grady, Lincoln, McClain, Murray, Oklahoma, Payne and Stephens counties. Recovery centers in Blanchard and Wellston closed July 3.
Before visiting a Disaster Recovery Center, homeowners, renters and business owners affected by the wildfires are urged to register for assistance by calling FEMA at 800-621-FEMA (3362) or TTY 800-462-7585. Applicants also may register online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov.
