Alarm, Locksmith, and Fire Sprinkler Service

The Alarm, Locksmith, and Fire Sprinkler Industry includes: monitoring, burglar alarm, fire alarm, fire sprinkler, locksmithing, access control, closed circuit television (CCTV), and nurse call.  Initially the program was limited to the alarm and locksmith industries, being created in response to industry and consumer concerns with unqualified and unethical individuals engaged in the selling, installing, and monitoring of alarm systems within Oklahoma.  Eventually the program was expanded to include locksmithing, electronic access controls, CCTV, fire sprinkler, and nurse call activities under the combined Alarm and Locksmith Industry.
The Alarm, Locksmith and Fire Sprinkler program provides administrative assistance, license and renewal processes for applicants and information services to the public. The program regulates the following:
  • Monitoring
  • Burglar Alarm
  • Fire Alarm
  • Fire Sprinkler
  • Locksmithing
  • Access Control
  • Closed Circuit Television
  • Nurse Call

Program staff endeavors to ensure that all companies and individuals engaged in such activities are licensed as required under law and are in compliance with the Alarm, Locksmith, Fire Sprinkler Industry Act and administrative rules.

The program strives to provide professional, reliable and efficient service for those governed and affected by the Alarm, Locksmith, and Fire Sprinkler industries in compliance with state statutes, in order to promote a safer Oklahoma.
