ODOL Administration
Provides administrative support and handles the business functions of the Department, including responsibility for communications, finance and accounting, human resources, purchasing, agency legal services, legislative affairs and constituent services, information technology and data processing services, mail and reception.
Commissioner's Office
The Office of the Commissioner is responsible for the overall direction and leadership of the agency. The Commissioner is responsible for the administration and enforcement of various state laws and is one of the principle spokespersons for Oklahoma Department of Labor. The commissioner serves as the chairman of the Occupational Licensing Advisory Commission (OLAC). The Commissioner and her staff coordinate activities relating to rules and regulations, hearings, legislative affairs, investigations, as well as internal and external labor related matters.
Communications
The Communications Division responds and coordinates media inquiries and public records requests from the media statewide. The division manages the agencies social media platforms and produces the agency's free external newsletter.
Financial Services
The Financial Services Division is responsible for all fiscal-related areas of the agency.
Governmental Affairs
The Governmental Affairs Division tracks legislation during legislative session and represents the agency by responding to inquiries from fiscal research and legislators on matters concerning ODOL.
Human Resources
The Human Resources Division supports the department through the administration and management of workplace services and the personnel policies and procedures. Human Resources processes new hires, separations from service, promotions within the department, job postings, applications received and total personnel actions processed.
Legal
The Legal Division advises the Commissioner and the department as a whole on a wide variety of legal issues related to the Oklahoma Department of Labor. The division also handles all rulemaking activity pertaining to the rules the department enforces.
