ARCHITECTURAL EXAM CANDIDATES

All Architect Exam Candidates are required to take the A.R.E. exam, as developed by NCARB.

Prior to taking the A.R.E. exam, Candidates are required to apply with this Board for approval and must have already established an AXP record with NCARB. To begin the application for approval, click on the "Application Portal" button below.

 

*ATTENTION Architectural Candidates: Once you have finished testing, please do not submit an online application for licensure. Ellen White will contact you with the next step after passing your final exam.*

Fee for Low-Income Individual

Upon presentation of satisfactory evidence that an applicant is a low-income individual, the Board will grant a one-time, one-year waiver of any fees associated with the license or registration. To read more about it, please download this document.
