CANDIDATE FILINGS

June 2-4, 2008

These candidate filings are compiled from Declarations of Candidacy accepted by the Oklahoma State Election Board during the June 2-4, 2008, candidate filing period for federal, state and legislative offices.

This is not an official candidate list. An official printed list of all candidates who filed Declarations of Candidacy with the State Election Board during the June 2-4 candidate filing period will be issued by the State Election Board approximately 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 5. The official candidate list also will be available at this website. Copies of the official candidate list may be obtained in person at Room B-6, State Capitol, Oklahoma City. Requests to receive candidate lists by mail may be sent to PO Box 53156, Oklahoma City, OK 73152. Requests also may be telephoned to 405-521-2391 or e-mailed to info@elections.ok.gov. A copy of the official candidate list will be mailed to each person who files a Declaration of Candidacy with the State Election Board.

Please note the following:

• The five-digit number preceding each candidate's name is a unique, ascending serial number beginning with 00001 and assigned by the State Election Board to each Declaration of Candidacy as it is accepted. This number is only for office use.
• The letter "M," "T" or "W" immediately preceding each candidate's name indicates the day of the week (Monday, June 2; Tuesday, June 3; or Wednesday, June 4) on which the candidate's Declaration of Candidacy was accepted.
• The number immediately following each candidate's name is the age of the candidate as of the day on which the candidate's Declaration of Candidacy was accepted, calculated from the date of birth shown on the Declaration of Candidacy.
• The address is that shown on the Declaration of Candidacy as the candidate's address of residence, which may be different from the candidate's mailing address and may be insufficient for mailing purposes. Candidates' mailing addresses will be included in the official candidate list described above.

Declarations of Candidacy for federal, state and legislative offices must be filed with the State Election Board during the candidate filing period, Monday-Wednesday, June 2-4, 2008, from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM each day. The information shown here is updated continuously throughout each of the three days of the candidate filing period. Each day's final filings will be available at this site by approximately 5:30 PM that day.
