The leading national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing
the practice and appreciation of the classical tradition in architecture
and the allied arts.
Mid-America Arts Alliance (M-AAA)
This organization was created to support and stimulate cultural activity in communities throughout Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas.
M-AAA now creates and manages regional, multi-regional, national, and international programs including traveling exhibitions, performing arts touring, and professional and community development.
Music for All Foundation
This national, non-profit organization, which does not accept unsolicited proposals, focuses its work on projects that expand access to public school music and arts programs. They also provide scientific research that explores the benefits of music education, advocacy and public awareness efforts to support music and arts education, and activities that encourage positive media coverage of the role music and arts education plays in society.
The site offers several useful features. Quickfacts, a compilation of music and arts education facts, offers data and statistics to use in a needs statement in grant proposals, funding articles, and policy papers. Other features include an extensive list of links to a range of arts organizations and research reports on various topics.
National Assembly of State
Arts Agencies (NASAA)
The membership organization of the nation's state and jurisdictional
arts agencies. High points of this site are a list of links of major grant makers to arts and culture, a directory of state arts agencies, state arts agencies' web sites, news updates from various state arts agencies, requests for proposals, research data, and links to demographic information. Proposal writers will appreciate the lengthy list of assorted research reports some free and others for a fee on topics about arts and learning, workforce preparation and the arts, educational approaches, and teaching the arts.

for the Arts (NEA)
Many of the programs and services of the Oklahoma Arts Council
as well as those of local arts groups in Oklahoma are made possible

New York Foundation for the
Arts (NYFA)
A national information resource for artists in all disciplines and for everyone who supports them in any way. While they state their mission "starts with individual artists in the visual, media, performing and literary arts," their site also offers information about programs they offer for small and medium-sized organization in New York that serve the needs of artists.

This is a laboratory for the exploration of the tools and techniques that

The After-School Corporation (TASC)
Although the organization services the New York City area, funding information is available about sources with general, national, and local appeal. See TASC's searchable database for information about public and private funding opportunities for youth service programs, including those in the arts. This site's database is searchable by key words, geographical area, age levels, type of funder, purpose of funding, and eligibility. Updates about current funding announcements may be obtained by signing up with their e-mail service.
