Narrative:
In May, 1990, just three years after its debut in 1987, Trio Tulsa won the prestigious David Bruce Smith National competition and was selected to become Artistic Ambassadors for the United States Information Agency.

Since its founding in 1987, Trio Tulsa has garnered standing ovations and critical accolades on four continents. It has been hailed as a “Trio of extraordinary talent” and as “one of the foremost chamber groups of the United States.” International tours have taken them to Europe, Africa, Central America, South America, Muaritius, the Caribbean and the Persian Gulf, where they gave the first cultural performances in the region after Desert Storm in 1991, performing in the Gulf States of Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan, and Kuwait. It was praised for performances that “brought sweet nectar for the spirit’ to the war torn area.

In residence at The University of Tulsa School of Music, Trio Tulsa is devoted to the performance of the great classics of the trio repertoire and joyously presents little-known gems and undiscovered masterpieces to audiences the world over. Trio Tulsa maintains an active schedule of concerts and master classes throughout the United States with frequent appearances in Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Flexibility and inventiveness are hallmarks of Trio Tulsa. They are available to work with you and build your audience through a variety of innovative formats; traditional concerts, master classes, audience-friendly educational presentations and community-outreach activities.
