Community Arts Learning
Facilitate the opportunity for every Oklahoman to have access to quality arts learning that is most appropriate to their current life circumstance and need.
Grants:
- Support creative arts experiences to best meet the needs of constituents with a variety of life circumstances using established theories of learning and human development.
- Support arts learning research and development in order to improve arts learning throughout the state.
Staff Services:
- Establish criteria for arts learning programs appropriate for OAC support.
- Identify the most pressing social issues of the state and address them with arts learning programs.
- Develop programs to train, assess and certify teaching artists throughout the state.
Public Information:
- Provide information about arts learning effectiveness, program development and resources.
Partnerships:
- Cultivate partnerships with other public and private agencies in order to advance understanding and development of arts learning.
