The office of County Clerk is a Constitutional office. The duties of the County Clerk are governed by Oklahoma Statutes which include record-keeping for the County, financial administration, and secretarial duties to various boards and commissions.
A Matter of Right
"A popular Government, without popular information, or the means of acquiring it, is but a Prologue to a Farce or a tragedy; or perhaps both. Knowledge will forever govern ignorance: And a people who mean to be their own Governors, must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives."--James Madison
I am so pleased to have had the opportunity to serve under our previous clerk, Carolyn Kusler and am so thankful for her training and mentorship for this job. It is my genuine honor to serve the citizens of Wagoner County as your County Clerk.
It is our goal in the County Clerk’s office, to provide an exceptional experience for everyone who visits, not only to our customers, to whom we like to refer as guests, but to the other departments within the County. We are constantly looking for new ways to improve our services and to make your records and information more accessible, both in our office and online.
We invite you to follow us on Facebook for updates about news and events around the county as well as issues which may affect you and your neighbors. Additionally, we are happy to post your events on Facebook or on the County Events Calendar as well to help you spread the news of what is going on in the community. Just let us know how we may be of service.
I am hopeful that you will find all of the information you are looking for here on our website and I welcome your feedback and suggestions on how we may make your experience with our office even better.
Again, thank you for allowing me to serve as your County Clerk.
