You may file for an agricultural tax exemption card at any time during normal business hours in the Assessor's office, or at scheduled locations throughout the county during the month of January. Field hours will be posted to this web site the last week of December.
You will need to bring a list of all farm equipment containing the make, model number, year purchased, purchase price and horse power to list on the form. The form also asks if you are enrolled in any FSA programs and requires the number of that program. There is a certification on the form that must be signed by the County Treasurer certifying that all taxes are paid before a card can be issued. The Assessor's office mails the appropriate copy to the Oklahoma Tax Commission and they will send you the actual card. We do not issue the card from this office.
Your card will expire every three years and you will need to make a new application with this office at that time. If you have any difficulty getting to the court house or a field location please call and we will assist you.
