Announcement - Emergency Rule Promulgation
HB2740 was recently signed into law and provides that a statewide organization representing retired educators can appoint one (1) non-voting Trustee to the Board of Trustees of OTRS. Because more than one statewide organization representing retired educators exists, the OTRS is proposing an emergency rule to outline a procedure to determine which organization is eligible to make the Trustee appointment. This rule will be considered by the Board at the July 23, 2014 Board meeting. Any person desiring to make comment on the rule may do so at the Board meeting.

Announcement - New Tax Withholding Tables
The federal and state withholding tables have been recently updated in the OTRS accounting system, which may result in a small change to your monthly benefit payment amount. Any changes will be reflected beginning with the May 1, 2014 benefit payment. You should receive a separate letter detailing any changes to your monthly benefit payment.
