Dear Oklahoma Film Industry Members and Colleagues:
After a reconsideration of House Bill 2580 on March 4, the House voted to pass the bill, which will extend the Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program until 2024. The bill passed by a majority vote of 65 ‘yeas’ with 28 ‘nays.’ When the bill was first heard on the House floor on Monday, March 3, it failed to receive the necessary 51 votes to pass and was held over on a motion to reconsider.
Having cleared the House, the bill has been referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
Thank you to everyone for your continuing support. We will keep you apprised of further activity.
