|Title:||Oklahoma Incident Response Hotline|
|Description:||Please reserve Saturday, February 23rd to attend an important briefing on the implementation of the Oklahoma Incident Resource Hotline. The briefing will be held at the Heart of Oklahoma Exposition Center, 1700 W. Independence, in Shawnee, OK, beginning at 9am and ending at approximately 4pm. Lunch will be provided.
The Incident Resource Hotline is designed to allow local resources to be coordinated between Oklahoma cities, towns, and counties, through the State Emergency Operations Center, during times of emergency. The system does not change any policies or procedures currently in place and it does not require local jurisdictions to move their resources when asked. It also does not alter command or authority. It simply establishes a system in which local resources can be leveraged and available to increase response capability.
We look forward to discussing the Incident Resource Hotline in more detail on February 23rd and sincerely hope that all emergency mangers, first responders, administrators and local officials will be able to attend. We are all involved in the public service business and the hotline is an additional tool to help us meet our customers' needs.
