PAYMENT CARD SERVICES

PayCard

The State Treasurer’s Office has contracted services with a financial institution to offer state employees a convenient way to receive their payroll.    The PayCard compliments the state’s mandatory direct deposit policy.

Oklahoma law (74 O.S. 292.12) requires that all new state employees use direct deposit to receive their pay. All current state employees are required to use direct deposit by June 30, 2007. Employees who are unable to have an account at a financial institution to receive their pay can elect to use the Oklahoma PayCard.

The PayCard is similar to a debit card with a financial institution.  The PayCard is VISA branded and can be used anywhere you see the VISA logo.  New hires can opt to use their own bank account or to have their wages deposited to the PayCard.

The State Treasurer’s Office has developed an on-line enrollment process for agency payroll personnel to use for employees who choose to deposit to the PayCard. Each agency’s Human Resources Department must complete a User Access Enrollment Form to gain access to this system. Enrollment forms are listed in the forms link on this website. This form should be completed and returned to the State Treasurer’s Office at (405) 521-4176, Attention:  Banking Services- EFT/ACH.
