I have been in the process of trying to quit for several months now. I am going to the doctor in an hour as a matter of fact to get on Chantix after I found out that my insurance covers it. My smoking buddy at work took it and hasn't touched a cigarette since. Another lady at work had her husband get on it 2 days ago and I finally bit the bullet myself. I always thought I could put them down and never touch them again until I actually tried to do it. Growing up I HATED being around cigarette smoke, especially being involved in sports. My step-dad and grandparents were chain smokers and I just couldn't stand to be around it. My grandparents both came down with pneumonia at the same time and hasn't touched a cigarette since. That was about 8-9 years ago now. I on the other hand picked them up while hanging around friends and partying and just can't seem to put them down. The road to recovery may be a rough one, but well worth it in the end. My wallet and my health will GREATLY benefit!!!
