On October 5, 2012, the Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) Employees Group Insurance Division (EGID) held public hearings regarding changes in reimbursement rates and/or methodology for professional injectables, facility injectables and dialysis as well as dental reimbursement rates. In accordance with Oklahoma State Statutes, Title 74, Chapter 37, Section 1325, EGID is required to hold a hearing 30 days prior to adopting major changes to reimbursement rates or methodologies. The hearing was an open forum where providers had the opportunity to comment on the proposed changes presented by EGID. Providers with high utilization participated in a task force meeting prior to public hearings to provide input into EGID’s proposed reimbursement recommendations. There were no public comments made at this hearing. The proposed reimbursement changes become effective for charges incurred on or after January 1, 2013.
