Septemberfest Offers Learning and Hands-On Activities for the Family


The Oklahoma History Center and the Governor’s Mansion will host the 16th annual Septemberfest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at the history center, 800 Nazih Zuhdi Drive, and at the governor’s mansion, 820 NE 23.

Admission to the activities and the museum is free for the day.

Visit with World War II paratroopers, cowboys and more with living history demonstrations. The Oklahoma Historical Society will offer learning stations, hands-on activities, demonstrations and more from museums and historic sites from across the state. Inside, groups will Santa Fe Stomp and the Oklahoma Children’s Theatre will perform.
