Purpose: Teen dating violence and sexual assault are preventable problems that affect students in middle and high school. This presentation will discuss dating violence and sexual assault, warning signs of abusive relationships, and how schools can choose and implement strategies to prevent dating violence and provide a safe and healthy learning environment for students. There will also be an overview of the Norman Police Department’s teen dating violence program, “My Body… My Life.”

Participants: Superintendents, principals, counselors, health educators, nurses, school resource officers, parents, and interested community partners
