Important NBCT Information

The following information regarding NBCT stipends was e-mailed to superintendents across the state earlier this month, but we wanted to provide it again:

The verification list for nationally board certified staff (teachers, librarians, counselors, school psychologists, speech language pathologists, and audiologists) employed in districts is now available online.  

Commission for Education, Instruction Quality and Accountability

Senate Bill 1797 by Senator Clark Jolley would combine many of the functions of the Commission for Teacher Preparation and the Office of Accountability into a new agency known as the Commission for Educational Quality and Accountability.

Governor Fallin Signs Appeals Bill for High School Seniors

House Bill 2970 signed into law. The bill calls for the State Department of Education to develop an appeals process for high school seniors who do not meet the current graduation requirement of passing four out of seven End of Instruction Exams.
