What information can I find on the online license verification?
Through the online license verification, you can verify active professional engineering and
land surveying licenses for firms and individuals, as well as engineer interns and land surveyor
interns.
I see a record, but how do I find additional information about the record?
To find out additional information about a record available through the online license verification,
click the licensed name field. By clicking on the record name you will be able to retrieve the following
information: individual name, employer name, employer address, phone number, email address, registration
number, license type, registration date, expiration date, continuing education carryover from the previous
renewal, and whether or not the individual or firm has been formally disciplined by the board.
If I am looking up an individual or a firm and the type indicates PE, what does that mean?
If an individual or firm has "PE" indicated in the record, this means that the individual holds a
professional engineering license and the firm is authorized to provide engineering services in
the state of Oklahoma.
If I am looking up an individual or a firm and the type indicates LS, what does that mean?
If an individual or firm has "LS" indicated in the record, this means that the individual holds a
land surveying license and the firm is authorized to provide land surveying services in the state of Oklahoma.
If I am looking up an individual and the type indicates EI or LSI, what does that mean?
If an individual has an "EI", he/she has been certified by this Board as an Engineer Intern--the first
step in the licensure process to become a professional engineer.
If an individual has a "LSI", he/she has been certified by this Board as a Land Surveyor Intern--the first
step in the licensure process to become a professional land surveyor.
Can I get the data in the search in a downloadable format for import into excel or mail merge?
Yes. All the data is available in a downloadable CSV (comma separated value) file to enable import
into excel, etc.
My information listed on the online database is not current?
If your name is not listed, or your information has not been updated, the data may not be inserted
or updated in the database. We update the database three (3) times a day, so check back in a couple
of hours. If you have immediate concerns or if your record is not updated after 7 business days of
providing this information to the Board Office, please
contact the Board for additional details.
