Welcome to the Oklahoma Statistical Analysis Center's Web Site

The Oklahoma Statistical Analysis Center (SAC) is housed in the Office of Criminal Justice Statistics at the OSBI with partial funding from the Bureau of Justice Statistics and support from the Justice Research and Statistics Association. The SAC serves as a clearinghouse for Oklahoma state criminal justice information and is the central contact point for federal, state, and local criminal justice agencies.

In addition to answering research requests from law enforcement agencies, state and local researchers, and the public, SAC staff also works on several grant-funded projects throughout the year. This year, we completed the first statewide crime victimization survey. We are also responsible for reporting all arrest-related deaths that occur in Oklahoma. For a complete list of projects see Current Projects.

  Services Offered:

  • Criminal Justice Research
  • Data and Statistics
  • Statistics For Grants
  • Evaluation Research
  • Survey Construction
  • Presentations

SAC staff also works closely with the Field Services Unit, which is responsible for the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program and State Incident-Based Reporting System (SIBRS). For more information about the UCR or SIBRS programs, please visit the Uniform Crime Reporting page on the main web site.
