Oklahoma Statistical Analysis Center
The Oklahoma Statistical Analysis Center (SAC) is housed in the Office of Criminal Justice Statistics at the OSBI with partial funding from the Bureau of Justice Statistics and support from the Justice Research and Statistics Association. The SAC serves as a clearinghouse for state criminal justice information in Oklahoma and is the central contact point for local, state, and federal criminal justice agencies.
In addition to answering research requests from law enforcement agencies, state and local researchers, and the public, staff also works on multiple grant-funded projects during the year. Staff conducted the second statewide crime victimization survey, which will be published online soon. SAC staff is also responsible for reporting all arrest-related deaths that occur in Oklahoma to the Bureau of Justice Statistics. For a complete list of projects, please visit Current Projects.
