Charges Filed in Okfuskee County Double Homicide Case

Two counts of murder in the first degree were filed this morning in Okfuskee County District Court against Ross Alan Holloway (d.o.b. 2/20/1981). Holloway shot and killed his parents inside their home near Boley Friday, March 8th. The bodies were discovered Monday, March 11. The Okfuskee County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI assistance with the double murder. Agents and deputies conducted numerous interviews to help create a time-line of events in the murders as well as searched the home for evidence.

Agents quickly discovered the Holloway’s son lived with the couple for two years. Methamphetamine was found in Ross Holloway’s bedroom. His 1997 Jeep Wrangler utility vehicle and Denver Holloway’s .22-caliber Magnum revolver were missing. Agents determined a day after the murders took place Ross Holloway was stopped by officers in LeFlore County. Holloway admitted to smoking Methamphetamine hours earlier. A .22-caliber Magnum revolver was found inside his vehicle with five spent shell casings inside the cylinder. The medical examiner determined the victims died from multiple gunshot wounds to the body with .22-caliber Magnum bullets.

Ross Holloway was transported to Okfuskee County Monday, March 18. During an interview with an OSBI agent, Holloway admitted to killing his parents.
