Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Arrests OKC Man

This evening, a member of the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force from the Guthrie Police Department arrested Lee W. Myrick (d.o.b. 06/19/1973). Myrick had distributed child pornography to the Guthrie officer and a member of the OSBI Internet Crimes Against Children Unit. Earlier in the day, task-force members from the Guthrie Police Department, Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office, and the OSBI ICAC Unit assisted by the Oklahoma Police Department served a search warrant at Myrick's residence, 313 East Kuhl Terrace in Oklahoma City. An on-scene preview of computer-related items revealed thousands of child pornography images. Myrick was arrested at his residence and later booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on two counts of Distribution of Child Pornography, one count of Aggravated Possession of Child Pornography, and one count of Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act. The investigation continues to determine if any local children are in the images.
