OSBI Investigates Possible Misconduct by Muskogee County D.A. Office

Muskogee County District Attorney Larry Moore requested OSBI investigate allegations of possible misconduct by his office as the result of the transfer of computers from the Muskogee County Sheriff’s Department to the District Attorney’s Office. These computers had software which would have potentially allowed access to monitor the Muskogee County Courthouse security system. The OSBI will investigate whether any state law was violated and, likewise, has requested assistance from the FBI to look into the potential of any violations of federal law. The OSBI opened the investigation today.
