Warrant on Keota Stabbing Remains Active, Suspect Picture Released

A felony warrant for Brandy Kay Hoover (d.o.b. 1/21/1982) remains active in the Keota stabbing case from last week. The warrant, issued Wednesday, contains two counts – assault and battery with a dangerous and maiming. Bond is set at $350,000.

An affidavit filed with the Haskell County District Court states Hoover stabbed Tara Parks several times with a knife. The altercation ensued when Parks traveled with her current boyfriend to retrieve some of his personal items from his ex-girlfriend (Hoover). Hoover stabbed Parks numerous times puncturing one of her lungs. Parks spent several days in a Tulsa hospital.
