OSBI Investigates Hugo Homicide

OSBI agents are assisting local law enforcement in Hugo with a homicide investigation. Sunday morning, Tony Laray Jones’ body was found near South Broadway Street close to Lowery Street. Obvious signs of trauma to his body indicate the 41 year old is a murder victim. The medical examiner’s office will perform an autopsy to determine the Hugo man’s cause of death. OSBI agents spent the day conducting interviews with people in the area and collecting possible evidence at the crime scene. That forensic evidence will be processed at an OSBI crime lab.
