Agents Make Arrest in LeFlore County Double Homicide

Thursday, June 21, 2012, Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and and a LeFlore County District Attorney’s Investigator arrested Christopher Simpson of Spiro (d.o.b. 6/10/1986) on two counts of first degree murder. Agents believe Simpson shot and killed Kaloni Flynn April 9, 2012. Flynn was 12 weeks pregnant at the time. The unborn child also died. Flynn was found inside her car parked on McGinnis Lane in LeFlore County. Simpson is believed to be the unborn child’s father.

After several months of intense investigation into the crime, a judge signed a warrant for Simpson’s arrest Thursday. Investigators picked up Simpson in Poteau Thursday night and booked him into the LeFlore County Detention Center on the two counts of first degree murder.

An affidavit has been filed with the LeFlore County Court Clerk’s Office.
