Arrest Made in Quapaw Murder

Thursday afternoon (6/14), a passerby discovered a body with obvious signs of trauma lying in a road in Quapaw. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI agents assist with the investigation. Officials identified the woman as 21-year-old Danyel (confirmed correct spelling) Borden of California. Overnight, agents and deputies arrested the woman’s ex-boyfriend for the murder at a home in the area of 3rd and F Street N.E. in Miami. Dustin Everett Boggs (d.o.b. 1-12-1988) was booked into the Ottawa County Jail on a complaint of first degree murder. The mugshot of Boggs is included in this release. The medical examiner will determine Borden’s exact cause of death.
