Agents Assist with Quapaw Homicide Investigation

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department requested Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents help with a homicide investigation in the city of Quapaw. Just before 2 p.m. today, a passerby spotted a body lying in the road along 610 and East 20. The victim is Danielle Borden. At this time, officials do not have identifiers on the woman but believe she is in her 20s. The medical examiner will determine the victim’s cause and manner of death; however, agents say the body did exhibit obvious signs of trauma. Agents and deputies are searching for people with information about the victim and her murder.
