Press Conference Called Announcing Charges in 25-Yr-Old Murder in Haskell County
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the Haskell County District Attorney’s Office will hold a joint press conference this afternoon at the Haskell County Courthouse in reference to charges being filed for the 1987 murder of Haskell County Commissioner Leo Boyd Reasoner.
Reasoner, 49, was shot and killed June 25, 1987, on a rural road four miles southwest of Lequire in Haskell County. Reasoner owned land in the area.
OSBI Director Stan Florence will speak during the press conference about why first degree murder charges have been filed and against whom. The conference will take place at 1:30 p.m. on the northwest corner of the Haskell County Courthouse.
A more detailed press release will be sent out after the press conference along with a mug shot of the charged individual.
