Creek County Homicide Victim Identified

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has identified the homicide victim found Thursday afternoon four miles west of Sapulpa in Creek County. The Creek County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI assistance in the case.

Saturday afternoon, a fingerprint lifted from the victim by an OSBI Latent Print Analyst and entered into the Automated Fingerprint Identification System matched Mitzie Sharia Pace, a.k.a. Mitzie Meiley (d.o.b. 7/1/1970), from Oak Ridge, Louisiana.

This positive identification is a vital lead in the case.
