Agents Help Investigate Dewey Child Homicide

The Dewey Police Department and local emergency medical technicians were called Friday (2/2/24/2012) afternoon to 321 N. Cherokee in Dewey about an unresponsive child. When EMTs arrived, they determined Emma Beth Warmberodt (d.o.b. 11-12-2010) was deceased. The Dewey Police Department requested agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation assist in this suspicious death case. Saturday, the state medical examiner determined in a preliminary autopsy that the child is a victim of homicide. OSBI agents conducted a crime scene investigation of the home where the child and her parents lived and preformed numerous interviews of those who occupied the home at the time of her death. No arrest has been made. The case is still under investigation.
