Agents Investigate Suspicious Death in Pittsburg County

The Pittsburg County Sheriff”s Office requested OSBI to help investigate a suspicious death that occurred Sunday afternoon at 11021 E. Sunset Shores near the Elm Point Recreation Area near Krebs. Firefighters were called to a trailer home on fire at the listed address. After crews extinguished the blaze, they discovered a man’s badly burned body inside. The condition of the body caused the sheriff’s office to call OSBI investigators. The medical examiner’s Tulsa office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of the victim’s death as well as to confirm his identity.
