Body of Missing Cotton County Woman Found

The body of a missing Cotton County woman was found this afternoon. The body of 52-year-old Teresa Speir was found at about 3:30 this afternoon while OSBI agents and sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant on property approximately 2 miles west of Devol off county road 2460. The medical examiner will take control of Speir’s body so doctors can perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of her death.

Speir was reported missing January 8th when she did not show up for work.

No arrest has been made. Agents and deputies continue to investigate.
