Agents Working to Solve Johnston County Murder

The OSBI continues to investigate the homicide of Carolyn Mowrer, 66, in Johnston County near Tishomingo. A home healthcare worker found her body Wednesday morning inside her home. OSBI believes two small safes are missing from Mowrer’s home. The first is a SentrySafe Fire Safe model 1100 BK. The second is much like model 1170. One of these safes had prescription medications inside. She stored valuables in the other. If anyone has seen these small safes, please contact the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017 or the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.
