Agents Investigating Suspicious Death in Stillwell

The Stillwell Police Department requested OSBI assistance in a suspicious death that happened Monday evening at 215 West Elm Street. Firefighters responded to a house fire at that location just after 8 p.m. While inside trying to fight the blaze, firefighters discovered a body inside.

The medical examiner will work to determine the identity of the victim and the cause and manner of death. In the meantime, investigators are following leads. The victim is not the person who resided at that home. No further information is available at this time.
