Shawnee Man Arrested on Multiple Counts Relating to Child Porn
Members of the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Shawnee man on multiple counts relating to sexual crimes against children.
Tuesday morning (8/30) OSBI ICAC agents and sheriff’s deputies arrested Don Gregory Meadows (d.o.b. 9-8-1965) at 702 North Pennsylvania in Shawnee, where he was living. A search warrant of the home revealed hundreds of images of child pornography. He was booked into the Pottawatomie County Jail on 2 counts of Aggravated Possession of Child Pornography, 2 counts of Producing Child Pornography, 2 counts of First Degree Rape, 1 count of Distribution of Child Pornography, and Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act. Meadows is being held without bond.
The tip on this case came from Seattle, Washington, Police who alerted the Oklahoma ICAC Unit of an unknown person from Oklahoma distributing child pornography. OSBI agents and analysts determined the person to be Meadows.
OSBI continues to investigate.
