Search Resumes for Man Missing 34 Years
Thirty-four years ago today, Ronnie Odell Davis disappeared. The 24 year old lived with his father near Swink in Choctaw County. The District Attorney’s Office in Choctaw County requested OSBI assistance. Since then authorities have run numerous leads, but the case remains unsolved. Foul play is expected. The OSBI is investigating this case as a homicide.
Davis’ family pleads to anyone with information about the location of his remains to call the OSBI at 800-522-8017 or local authorities. The family is posting a $2,500 reward for the person who helps direct Davis’ family to his remains. You can find more information about Davis on the Facebook page his family has erected at Find Ronnie Odell Davis.
The OSBI is offering a separate reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for Davis’ death.
Davis was approximately 6’2” tall, 180 pounds, with red hair, and false teeth. One of his front teeth was either silver or gold. He was wearing blue denim jeans, a blue denim shirt, and a gold watch at the time of his disappearance. His pickup truck is also missing. It is a 1975 Ford XLT ¾ ton, white over royal blue in color, with an Oklahoma license tag of 440-699. Locating the truck could help investigators find Davis’ remains.
