Director to Introduce Mobile Analysis Center

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation will hold a press conference Wednesday, July 20, at 9:30 a.m. outside OSBI Headquarters at 6600 N. Harvey Place in Oklahoma City to introduce the bureau’s new Mobile Analysis Center (MAC). OSBI Director Stan Florence will explain why the bureau needs such a vehicle and how it can help agents when investigating complex crimes.
The MAC unit is a self-contained vehicle equipped with secure computer hardware/software and communication-networking systems as well as analytical work areas that allow criminal analysts to receive, analyze, and disseminate raw intelligence data necessary in the investigation of criminal cases. The vehicle also provides a work site at, or within close proximity of, an incident allowing increased effectiveness and timeliness for agents working leads.
