Reward Offered in 2007 El Reno Homicide

The OSBI is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the May 21, 2007, homicide of James (Jim) Shaw. The 73 year old was found stabbed to death inside his home. That day, the retired professor made trips to a local bank and Wal-Mart before returning home that afternoon. The assailant likely walked in the front door of the home. Agents believe robbery was likely the motive.
