Agents Investigate Delaware County Shooting Death

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI assistance overnight regarding a shooting at a rural home near Eucha. Just after 1:30 Thursday morning, deputies were called to a shooting at 150 Private Road 212 eight miles northwest of Jay.

Investigators found a man dead inside the home. He had been shot several times by an occupant of the home. The deceased is identified as Steven Lee Gooding (d.o.b. 8/27/1983) of Jay. No arrest has been made. The investigation is on-going.
