Agents Investigate Weekend Wynnewood Murder

Saturday night, Wynnewood Police requested OSBI assistance in a murder case. Police were called to 204 E. Indiola at 5:35 pm regarding a fight. Upon arrival, officers found two people had been assaulted. Gregory Cook (dob 6/27/1957) died en route to the Pauls Valley hospital. Pat Cook, Gregory Cook's brother, was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police quickly arrested Zachary Eugene Deitrick (dob 8/7/1991) for the murder of Gregory Cook. The suspect is the murder victim's nephew and the assault victim's son. Deitrick was booked into the Garvin County jail on a murder complaint.
