Agents Investigate Carter County Jail Death

Carter County Sheriff Ken Grace requested OSBI investigate the in-custody death of a jail inmate early this morning (4/12). Patricia Ann Wallace, (d.o.b. 4/8/1959) of Marietta, was found dead in her cell at 6 o’clock this morning. Wallace was arrested by Ardmore Police overnight for DUI. She was booked into the Carter County Detention Center at 4:04 a.m. Wallace was placed in a cell by herself. The body has been sent to the medical examiner’s office in Oklahoma City for an autopsy. There is no indication at this time foul play was involved.
