Agents Search for Murder Suspect

OSBI Agents and Tahlequah Police are searching for a murder suspect in an overnight shooting in the city. Dane Dunegan (d.o.b. 3-2-56) of Oktaha was shot to death inside a duplex at 152 W. Wisteria Lane at approximately 11:30 Tuesday night (3/15/11). Tahlequah Police requested OSBI assistance in the investigation. Investigators quickly identified a suspect - Bronson Butcher (d.o.b. 3-17-84) -also of Oktaha. Butcher was living at the duplex. The victim was shot multiple times and died en route to St. Francis Hospital. If anyone knows of Butcher's whereabouts, please call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
