Cherokee Police Officer Arrested for Aggravated Assault

Saturday night (2/19), the Alfalfa County District Attorney's Office requested OSBI assistance regarding a report of an assault at an apartment in Cherokee by a city police officer.  OSBI has determined that Officer David Cole (d.o.b. 06-01-64) committed aggravated assault against the woman in the apartment Saturday night.  The apartment is located at 300 West Cherokee.  Cole was hired by the police department approximately a week ago.
