Mayes County Man Arrested for Child Porn

OSBI Internet Crimes Against Children Agents and Mayes County Sheriff Deputies arrested Michael A. Dean (d.o.b. 6/21/85) at the Locust Grove Police department this afternoon.  Agents requested Dean appear for an interview at the police department. After an interview and a forensic preview of Dean's personal computer, he was arrested for Possession of Child Pornography, Distribution of Child Pornography, and Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.  OSBI began its investigation on Dean during a proactive undercover investigation of peer-to-peer communications.  An extensive forensic examination of the computer will determine how many children are victims in this case and if any of the children are local. Dean lives in rural Mayes County near the town of Salina.
