OSBI Investigates Henryetta Shooting Death

OSBI agents have spent the week in Henryetta investigating the shooting death of 13-year-old Landon Jewel.  He was shot Friday evening at the home of a friend at 1012 West Cummings.  Agents are running leads to determine what led up to the discharging of the weapon.  

The medical examiner’s office ruled the child’s death a homicide.  The definition of homicide is the killing of one person by another.  Rampant rumors are impairing the investigation; therefore, OSBI asks that anyone with valid, verifiable information regarding this case to please call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
